3 Solubility Freely soluble in water; insoluble in alcohol.
4 Tartrate No crystalline precipitate is formed.
5 Alkalinity The Sample solution is alkaline to litmus paper, but after the addition of 0.20 mL of 0.10 N sulfuric acid, no pink color is produced by 1 drop of phenolphthalein TS.
6 Water Not less than 10.0% and not more than 13.0%.
7 Assay Not less than 99.0 % and not more than 100.5 % of C6H5Na3O7, calculated on the anhydrous basis.

PACKAGING

MOLCIT® Na is packed in HDPE Bag or HDPE Drum Packing with double PE Liners inside having bar-coded label and   tamper evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. It is preserve in tight containers.
